ENVI Engineering was the Commissioning Agent for the tenant buildout of 53,000 square feet for Greater Houston Partnership offices within the Partnership Tower. The facility includes typical office areas, such as lobby and reception areas, conference room areas, meeting rooms, offices, open work areas, and break rooms. This space is unique in that it includes a 2,000 square foot terrace, 19-panel video/interactive display, and a large area for hosting-assembling.
Greater Houston Partnership chose the LEED for Commercial Interiors (CI) 2009 certification inclusive of the Enhanced Commissioning process as their quality-oriented process for achieving, verifying and documenting, that the performance of their Corporate Office space systems and assemblies meet their defined objectives and criteria. Systems commissioned were mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
The scope of work accomplished by ENVI included fundamental and enhanced commissioning services for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems per ASHRAE Guideline 0 – The Commissioning Process. ENVI provided the LEED Credit for Energy and Atmosphere Prerequisite 1 – Fundamental Commissioning of Building Energy Systems and Energy and Atmosphere Credit 3 (EAc3) Enhanced Commissioning.
