ENVI Engineering was the Commissioning Agent for the first generation interior build-out LEED offices in Houston, Texas.  The project consisted of 5 levels, totaling 136,893 square feet, with the remaining levels of the building to be occupied by multiple tenants. The facility includes typical office areas, such as lobby and reception areas, conference room areas, meeting rooms, offices, open work areas, and break rooms.

The Skanska Interior Build-Out project implemented the LEED for Commercial Interiors (CI) 2009 certification inclusive of the Enhanced Commissioning process as their quality-oriented process for achieving, verifying and documenting, that the performance of their office space systems and assemblies meet their defined objectives and criteria. Systems commissioned were mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building automation systems.

The scope of work accomplished by ENVI included Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning services for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing per ASHRAE Guideline 0 – The Commissioning Process. ENVI fulfilled the LEED Credit for Energy and Atmosphere Prerequisite 1 – Fundamental Commissioning of Building Energy Systems and Energy and Atmosphere Credit 3 (EAc3) Enhanced Commissioning.
