Systems Commissioning is a process of documentation, adjustment, testing, verification and training performed specifically to ensure that the finished Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Building Automation Control systems operate in accordance with the Owner’s documented project requirements and the construction documents. As a result, the Commissioning Authority is involved in the design, construction, and initial occupancy of the facility.
An energy audit is a systematic approach to building optimization, trouble shooting, decision making, and capital improvement planning. The primary goals of an energy audit are to qualify and quantify how the building energy systems are performing now, how that performance can be improved, and what will be the outcomes of those improvements for the Owner in financial and non-financial terms. ENVI Engineering performs energy audits per the ASHRAE Guidelines.
ENVI Engineering offers Retro-Commissioning services through CenterPoint Energy’s Commercial Retro-Commissioning (RCx) Program. ENVI Engineering is a Qualified Retro-Commissioning Agent representing CenterPoint Energy. The RCx Program is designed to achieve demand and energy savings in commercial facilities by evaluating facility's HVAC and Lighting control systems and implementation of low-cost and/or no-cost measures.
ENERGY STAR certified buildings save energy, save money, and help protect the environment by generating fewer greenhouse gas emissions than typical buildings. ENVI Engineering provides ENERGY STAR® Licensed Professional Services for ENERGY STAR® Certification of Facilities.
